FAQ

Masonry and Outdoor Kitchens questions

Do I need a permit for an outdoor kitchen?

Gas lines and electrical circuits usually need permits. The masonry island itself often doesn't. We'll check with your city.

Brick or stucco finish?

Brick is low maintenance and ages well. Stucco is cheaper and can be painted to match the house.

Can you build on my existing patio?

If the slab is sound and thick enough, yes. Otherwise we add a footing under the island.
